The architecture of this apartment attempts to re-interpret the original Art Deco of the landmark building. The design began in 1986 and has been renovated several times to house the extraordinary collection of Asian art and Art Deco objects and furniture. It is an attempt at a "Gesamtkunstwerk", where the art and architecture are one. In its entirety, the architecture results from the unusual contribution of extraordinary clients, as they have preserved and improved the interior architecture over the last twenty-six years.
