This pre-war apartment with large windows facing north provided the good bones for our renovation. The intention of the design was to combine the living space with the study/library so that the two could work together as one space most of the time and the pocket door could provide temporary privacy when required. The large collection of books was distributed into three bookcases one more intimate in the bedroom, the main one in the living and the working books in the study.
